About Anthroposophical Books

Anthroposophical Books is a specialist dealer in second-hand Anthroposophical titles. The second-hand stock comprises about 4000 items in both English and German, which is divided between a Main Stock, Bargain Books Stock (only in printed list), German titles only Stock, and Anthroposophical Periodicals. The titles are mostly listed on this website, but the stocks are also presented for sale via printed lists issued usually once a year, and sent to a small mailing list. Please let us know if you would like to receive any of the printed lists.

We also list new Anthroposophical books from the main U.K. publishers: Rudolf Steiner Press, Clairview Press, Temple Lodge Press, Floris Books, and Hawthorn Press. This service works similarly to ordering a second-hand title, except that there is a slight delay in dispatch as we do not ordinarily keep stock of these titles.

We also send occasional E-Lists of Recent Acquisitions and you will be included in this mailing list, unless you specifically tell us not to include your e-mail address.

Visitors are Welcome at our Premises - The book rooms are located in a converted wool mill on the river Frome in the old mill town of Stroud, Goucestershire, in the south Cotswolds. Stroud is in a picturesque location at the meeting of five valleys, and can be reached by road from the motorways, the M4 and M5, and by rail directly from London, the North and the Southwest of England (see directions and map below). Clients are advised to call first in order to make sure that we are open – normally, we are open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
